About the Event
The Trauma-Responsive Care Certification series is limited to 70 clinicians. Registration will close when capacity is reached or on Nov. 2nd, whichever occurs sooner.
The Tristate Trauma Network is committed to increasing the practice of trauma-responsive care in our community. TTN partners with the trauma experts at Finding Hope Consulting, LLC to provide a unique Trauma Certification to practitioners: Trauma-Responsive Care Certification (TRCC). It includes 30 hours of training and 12 hours of consultation.
Schedule of Trainings and Consultation:
**Sessions will take place via Zoom with content and lunch breaks. 11/9 & 11/30/20 9:00am-4:30pm – Modules 1-2: 2-day Foundational Training (Lunch 12-1pm) 12/9/20, 9:00am-3:30pm – Module 3: "Where it all Begins: Trauma Informed Assessment" followed by consultation time (Lunch on your own) 1/6/21, 9:00am-3:30pm – Module 4: "The Top Five Resilience Factors and You: Building Resiliency in Those We Serve and Ourselves" followed by consultation time (Lunch on your own) 2/10/21, 9:00am-3:30pm – Module 5: "Lying, Manipulating and Stealing, Oh My! Looking for Dopamine in all the Wrong Places:Interventions for Biologically Based Fear Responses" followed by consultation time (Lunch on your own) 3/10/21, 9:00am-3:30pm – Module 6: "Bringing Hope Home:The Three R’s of Successful Trauma Resolution" followed by consultation time (Lunch on your own) 4/7/21, 9:00am -3:30pm – Module 7:"Trauma Informed Supervision and Administration: Promoting Client Care and Self Care in a Trauma Informed Workplace" followed by consultation time (Lunch on your own) 5/5/21, 9:00am-4:00pm – Module 8: "Putting it All Together:Relational and Sensory Based Interventions for Trauma Responsive Care" followed by consultation time and certification test (Lunch on your own)

Fees:
$750 for 8-day Full Certification Series, Modules 1-8, AND Cetification Test and Application. If not taking test and applying for certification, cost is $700 for the Series. No TTN Member discounts are allowed for the Full Series due to membership being a requirement to participate. *In order to recieve certification, candidates must have an Individual TTN Membership by the time of application submission (currently $90) Membership is completed separately. $175 ($150 for TTN Members with Discount Code) if taking just the 2-day Foundational Training only (November 9 & 30).
*Note: There is a Payment Plan available to make the Full Series payment in 4 installments. Please register as Pay By Check and send email to madamchik@tristatetraumanetwork.org set this up.
*CEUs are being provided for the training components only (30 hours) by the folowing Boards: IN Category 1; OH Counselors, Social Workers, and MFTs; and KY Social Workers.
Upon completion of training and consultation hours, providers will complete a competency test and submit an application. Initial Certification will be good for 2 years. After the first 2 years, certification can be renewed annually by submitting evidence of 6 CEU hours related to trauma-specific or trauma-informed care and renewal of Individual membership with the Tristate Trauma Network.
Two levels of Certification are being provided:
1) Trauma-Responsive Care Certification - Level 1 - for BA level or non-clinical professionals
2) Trauma- Responsive Care Certification - Level 2 - for MA level clinicians (minumum of a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.) Independent Licensure is not required for participation in this program.
